Aviation GPS - Search for waypoints
Ever hunted around on a moving map, looking for that waypoint that ATC just cleared you direct-to? Well, FlightMaster aviation GPS has a really powerful waypoint search function for these situations.
The Search page gives you a list of the nearest waypoints in order of range, for a variety of waypoint types. FlightMaster Aviation GPS even filters out airfields that you can't land your aircraft on.
You get a clear read out of waypoint bearing, range, and reverse bearing from the waypoint - position reporting made easy! Simply scroll down the list (using the Up & Down keys on the PDA) to find the waypoint, and tap on it to display the waypoint information dialog. If you're happy with it, press the Goto button to divert via the waypoint.
You might want to find the waypoint by its identifier, or name - and you can with FlightMaster. Tap on the 'Find:' field, enter some text to search for and FlightMaster will search for waypoints using that information - you can search for a waypoint over 3000nm away, and it only takes a few seconds!
Fly with Confidence that your data is accurate. FlightMaster Aviation GPS now comes standard with a current Jeppesen Database.
