Command and Control

FlightMaster aviation gps is so easy to use thanks to its Command Popup. This is activated by a single keypress (the left-most button on the PDA), and contains on-screen buttons to access all of the 5 main screens plus the major features you need quick access to.

The on-screen buttons are large enough that none of FlightMaster's in-flight features require the use of a stylus. FlightMaster also displays large buttoned keypads for you if you need to enter data.

FlightMaster allows you to use the main keys of your PDA to change screens (in sequence, forwards and backwards) and activate a Goto.

Aviation Moving Maps

FlightMaster Aviation GPS has four moving maps, each one independently configurable. You can easily move between them using the left & right navigator buttons of your PDA.

You can use the maps how you like, for example setting up Map 1 as Track Up at 40nm zoom for VFR operations, while using Map 2 as North-Up at the same zoom, and Map 3 as an IFR operations map (with airways). The choice is yours!

FlightMaster Aviation GPS HSI PDF Print E-mail

Aviation GPS HSI

HSIThe FlightMaster Aviation GPS HSI is based on the classic display found in many aircraft: the pointer lays along the programmed course and the CDI shows how far left or right of course you are. We've added a triangluar bug that points direct to the waypoint.

There is not much more to say about this elegant instrument, it is so simple and effective and all pilots will love it!

Midwest Sport Aviation, LLC Named US and Canada FlightMaster Distributor
Midwest Sport Aviation, LLC has been named the US and Canada Distributor for FlightMaster, an Aviation GPS software solution for PalmOS based devices. In an effort to expand FlightMaster presence, The developer of FlightMaster has requested our services to market FlightMaster in the US. As a result of this, AeroPalm will no longer be available. All existing customers of AeroPalm will be given a free migration to FlightMaster so as to transition our customers to FlightMaster.  As well, AeroPalm users may continue to utilize AeroPalm with the free database that is available from Navaid.com.

It is important to note however that the only way to get current airspace is to migrate to FlightMaster and then purchase a Jeppesen NavData update for FlightMaster. FlightMaster is largely similiar to AeroPalm but is at a more advanced stage.
